Ever since seventh grade when I had to create a fake newspaper (however not fake news), I knew that I wanted to pursue journalism and writing. Through my high school paper, my love for journalism grew even more. Here I am, an E.W. Scripps School of Journalism Ohio University alumna (who graduated during a pandemic!). I also earned a certificate in Social Media and Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies. I am currently a Marketing Specialist for GNCO, Inc.
At Ohio University, I was the president and campus correspondent for the Ohio University Chapter of Her Campus starting in 2018 and experienced Her Conference in 2019. I’m a lover of the Society of Professional Journalists and was the 2019-20 publicist chair for the Ohio University chapter. During the summer of 2019, I was a PR and Content intern at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium.
I'm a native Clevelander which means I am always full of hope (Go Browns!). I have a love/hate relationship with coffee. My Starbucks order is a grande iced latte, but I prefer supporting local coffee shops over anything (Starbucks tastes like burnt dirt. Don't fight me on this). I also adore succulents and can spend hours in a plant store.
